Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of luminvest.it. By using the site, you accept them.

1. The service

LuminVest publishes independent financial research on listed companies. The site is currently in beta: reading it is free and full access to the reserved analyses is by invitation. We may change, suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, also without notice.

2. Nature of the content

The analyses, scores and comments we publish are for information and education. They are not investment advice and not a personalised recommendation: they are written without any knowledge of your assets, your goals and your risk tolerance. The Disclaimer at the foot of every page applies in full, together with the limits described on the methodology page. The published portfolio is a simulation: no real capital is invested in it and the results shown are not realised returns.

3. Account

To register you must use an email address of your own. You sign in through a link sent by email, and that link is strictly personal: do not share your credentials or your sign-in links, because they let anyone who receives them into your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, write to us at ricerca@luminvest.it. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.

4. Intellectual property

The texts, the scores, the charts and the method we publish are the work of the authors and remain their property. You may quote short passages, provided the attribution is clear and comes with a link to the source page. Redistributing the reserved analyses in full is not allowed, nor is publishing, reselling or bundling them into third party products or services.

5. Limitation of liability

The content is provided "as is", with no warranty of completeness, accuracy, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. The data comes from sources we consider reliable, which can nevertheless contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or from reliance on its content. Every investment decision remains the sole responsibility of the person who takes it.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for instance when the service or the applicable rules change. The date of the last change is shown at the foot of this page; using the site after a change counts as acceptance of the new version.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, where consumer protection rules so provide.
